

The overall design intent was to reuse, recycle and repurpose. With that in mind, the majority of the fitout already had a life before it became part of a microbrewery, from the giant tables made from timber from a demolished 100 year old bridge, to the pallets donated by Brookvale local businesses, the kitchen cupboards repurposed into dart boards and the rusted iron bar cladding salvaged from a farm shed that had fallen over in high winds.
Shortlisted for a Sustanable Design Award
The Village Days Brewery brings together a community vibe to the Gladesville area. A hardwood bar with tiled beack and oversized pendants forms the centrepiece. Numerous seating options are provided for the local punters.

Located in the historic rocks area The Keel bar is a unique rum bar with philanthropy at its heart. 20% of takings go to charitable causes.
The fitout took inspiration from the buildings history as the Sailors home, globe lights illuminate the blue booths with golden curtains creating an element of privacy throughout.
Hidden in the historic Rocks area, the Daintree bar is an intimate venue that gives back. Daintree Sydney donates half of all profits directly towards a 'save and seed' program within the rainforest. This means the funds will purchase the land back, reseed destroyed rainforest areas, and give custodianship back to the indigenous people of the region
